Boco Rock Wind Farm is much more than the sum of its (turbine) components. At the project, we are committed to a community engagement strategy that seeks to make a genuine contribution to the local and wider community.

 

This strategy incorporates not only open and responsive stakeholder engagement, but local sponsorship and significant local road infrastructure works through the construction phase of the project and a Community Fund during operations that will deliver an annual contribution of $167,500 to the local region.

 

In addition to the Community Fund a number of local events were held during construction, including a Public Open Day and a blade stopover in Bombala. The Project has also sought to support the local community through sponsorship during construction and operation of the wind farm.
